The Centre for Studies, Research and Sports Medicine (CEIMD) has extensive research experience in the field of physical exercise for the improvement of health. It is also a reference in the assistance to high performance athletes and in the training of sports technicians.
Since the 2005/06 academic year, the IND has implemented a program to prevent childhood obesity in the Autonomous Community of Navarra, focusing on Primary Education (children aged 6 to 11), with very positive results. The ANETO project aims to build on this pioneering experience to improve the childhood obesity prevention program and extend it to the border region of southern France.
